The "Antonio Pigliaru" Workshop, named in honor of the Sardinian philosopher, is a biennial event dedicated to exploring a distinct theme with each edition.

2022: Workshop on Social Norms & Cultural Codes

2024: From Sardinia to the World: The Impact of Malaria and Other Infectious Diseases on Health and Economic Development

Organized by Alberto Bisin, Claudio Deiana, Luigi Guiso, Mario Macis, Marco Nieddu, and Francesco Pigliaru, with the support of Fondazione di Sardegna, the workshop involves topics that all relate to events in Sardinia’s history.

Although it begins with a focus on Sardinia, the workshop broadens its scope to include a wide range of perspectives. By adopting a multidisciplinary approach, it brings together not only economists but also philosophers, historians, legal scholars, architects, and other experts from various fields.
